Bill Wells

About the artist...

Bill Wells creates uncommonly good paintings of commonplace scenes. He works in watercolor, oils, and mixed media, but says watercolor is still his first love. His Americana subjects include old post offices, stores, old churches, and small town scenes.

Bill has won numerous awards in regional shows and has had many private exhibitions. His commissioned portraits, paintings and prints hang in hundreds of private collections in the U. S. and Europe, including those of former President Bill Clinton and Arkansas Senator Blanche Lincoln.

Bill teaches watercolor at Rich Mountain Community College and at the SouthWest Artists' gallery, both in Mena, Arkansas.
